Blaasveld is a village in the Belgian province of Antwerp and a part of Willebroek. Blaasveld was an independent municipality until the municipal reorganization of 1977. In Blaasveld, there used to be an impressive castle. On the grounds of this vanished castle of Blaasveld, in the current nature reserve 'Het Blaasvelds Broek', there now stands a chapel dedicated to Saint Francis, accompanied by a chestnut tree that is over 300 years old. This chapel is said to be inspired by the castle chapel of the disappeared castle.
