Corroy-le-Grand is a village in the municipality of Chaumont-Gistoux, Belgium. Corroy-le-Grand is located in the province of Walloon Brabant.
The name Corroy is first mentioned as Colreit in a text from the year 1083. This common toponym comes from the Latin coryletum or coruletum, which means "hazel forest". Variants of this name can be found in Corroy-le-Château, Cauroy-lès-Hermonville and Koereit, among others. The Colruyt family name also has the same origin.
