Hodister is a village in the Belgian province of Luxembourg and a district of Rendeux. The Ourthe river flows through the eastern part of the district.
At the end of the Ancien Régime, in 1796, Hodister became a municipality, which also included the villages of Gênes and Warizy. The neighboring municipality of Jupille was dissolved in 1823 and merged with Hodister. In 1977, Hodister became a district of Rendeux.
