Custinne is a place and a district of the Belgian municipality of Houyet. Custinne is located in the Walloon province of Namur and was an independent municipality until January 1, 1977. During the Middle Ages, Custinne was a fief of the county of Rochefort. The lords of Custinne acquired castles in Lombut, Villy, and Auflance in the 15th century, a French estate where they went to live. A branch of the family acquired Condé-sur-Moselle in the 18th century, a lordship that was renamed Custines.
