Bléharies is a village in the Belgian province of Hainaut and a part of the municipality of Brunehaut. Bléharies is the capital of the merged municipality; The town hall is located in this borough.
The relatively small borough is located near the French border. The Scheldt used to form the eastern border of the borough, winding, and flows into Belgium via Bléharies. The route of the river was straightened, most recently in 1974, so that it now flows partly through the territory itself.
