Sinsin is a village in the Belgian province of Namur and a part of Somme-Leuze. Sinsin is located about eleven kilometers southwest of the village center of Somme-Leuze.
During the Ancien Régime, Sinsin consisted of two adjacent places, separated by a small river. In the northeast was the village of Sinsin-Petite, which belonged to the Prince-Bishopric of Liège. In the southwest was Sinsin-Grande, which belonged to the Duchy of Luxembourg. This situation is represented on the Ferraris map from the 1770s with the village of Petit Sinsen in the Prince-Bishopric of Liège and the hamlet of Grand Sinsen in the Luxembourg enclave.
