St. Peter's Church in Itterbeek (Dilbeek) dates from the 13th and 14th centuries. The parish church was built in sand-lime brick, possibly from the nearby 'stone pool' quarry. The church underwent numerous renovations over time. The tower was raised in 1666 and in 1893 a high constricted needle spire was added. In the 20th century, the transept chapels were given a gable. Remarkable are the cups on the outside of the nave under the gutter. The interior has a beautiful panelling from the 17th century. The church has been protected as a monument since 1938. In 1974, the cemetery wall was also protected.
