In the Provincial Museum Emile Verhaeren, the life and work of the charismatic poet and art critic are presented in a contemporary and comprehensive manner. Visitors become acquainted with the figure of Emile Verhaeren through rarely or never displayed manuscripts, letters, photographs, and artworks.
The tentacular tables, which characterize the museum's design, invite visitors to take a seat and immerse themselves in the remarkable man that Emile Verhaeren was.
Opening hours:
From March 1 to November 30, on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 11 AM to 6 PM.
From July 1 to August 31, from Tuesday to Sunday from 11 AM to 6 PM. Closed on Mondays.
Open all year round by appointment.
