The Liniewegel in Eksaarde is for many residents of Lokeren the most beautiful walking and cycling path through our open space. In the plain south of the Liniewegel, the land consolidation of Eksaarde has left deep marks: old pollard willows and trees have almost completely disappeared, but there are now some strips of young plantations.
