The Sint-Vincentiuskapel is a chapel on the Kapelleberg in the Flemish Ardennes in Maarke. The pilgrimage chapel of the Tournai quarry dates back to the 12th century and was first mentioned in 1569 under the name of Kapel Ten Berghe. In 1580, the chapel was destroyed during the Dutch revolt. It was rebuilt in 1597. In the chapel, ex-votos from pilgrims from the 19th and 20th centuries were hung - unfortunately, they were stolen in 2018. During the last week of January, the novena of Saint Vincent is celebrated and "geutelingen" are baked in the local wood-fired ovens. In 1976, the chapel was protected as a monument and restored in the 1980s. The cement was then removed to once again reveal the old door of the first chapel. Inside the chapel, there is a polychrome wooden statue from the 16th century of Abbot Saint Anthony and a polychrome wooden statue from the 17th century of Saint Vincent. There is also a naive folk painting from the 19th century with six scenes depicting the martyrdom of Saint Vincent. In 2017, a wooden panel was stolen from the chapel; it was recovered in France in 2018.
