JAP has always attempted to reintegrate "marginalized" youth into society alongside "normal" youth so they can learn from each other. The HANG LOOSE project by JAP aims for this goal.
Adventure for people with disabilities... it's not obvious. Adventure sports in general are never easy anyway... With this project, JAP hopes to make a significant mark in Flanders with the target group. HANG LOOSE will not only be unique because it will be the first indoor course in Flanders for people with disabilities, but it will also be a multifunctional meeting space where multiple generations can come together to engage in sports, be together, undertake artistic activities, work together...
When the entire project is ready, HANG LOOSE will host the following activities:
- high ropes course with via ferrata, also accessible to wheelchair users
- meeting and activity space for youth and seniors
- artistic platform
- meeting room
