Vrouwvliet to Dijle, shortest green path: overview of this safe route to take on an NGI topographical map.
The black arrow indicates the direction on how to travel from Vrouwvliet on the east side of the N16/R6 to the right bank of the Dijle in a green and safe way. This is done without having to cover large distances in the southern or northern direction along the (necessary and busy) Antwerpse Steenweg.
For this purpose, a bedding has been created on the east and west sides of the R6 at the end of 2012, the underpass beneath the R6 has been taken via the old Antwerp road (now a dead-end street), and navigation occurs underneath the N16 and two of its on and off ramps to the E19.

Currently, there is still one dangerous crossing along Schumanlaan over the E19 in Zemst for this Green Mechelen Marathon. Wake up Zemst!
