Remains of the medieval city walls, ascending to before 1400. City gate of four bays under slate hipped roof (ridge perpendicular to the street). Anchored frame facades of Gobertange stone with wraparound, delineating cordons and short lisenes. Central passage with barrel vault, pointed arch on city side and wide round arch on field side, flanking narrow round arch passages installed in 1923 for pedestrians. Beginning of former city wall clearly visible in side facades.
