The majority of the recordings of the top series on VIER by Woestijnvis "Met Man en Macht" took place here near the old town hall and the café Bij Rita (which actually exists), on the Market. Café Rita is one of the rare local pubs in the municipality. Rita took over the café from her mother a long time ago, who was colloquially known as Black Maria. That’s why many still call the local pub Bij Zwarte Maria. In 2015, this building will be demolished. The basin does tell that thanks to the series "Met Man en Macht," it will always continue to live on.
