This beautiful piece of natural beauty has been on the List of Monuments of Wallonia since 1970. A walk of 1.5 km leads the hiker along the many boulders in the Amblève. Legend has it that these blocks came here through a pact between the devil and the miller of the Fonds de Quarreux, Hubert Chefneux. Geology enthusiasts are more interested in the erosion of these very strong quarter-vision blocks. For everyone who loves nature, the Fonds de Quarreux are a journey through time and imagination!
