Dating from the very end of the 17th century, this house was once part of the same building as number 16. Built over three and a half levels with extensive use of brick and limestone, characteristic of the developed Mosan style. The ground floor shows the inevitable signs of alterations but retains the 19th century frontage of a pharmacy. The windows show the same clear changes over time: their uprights have been lowered and the transoms have disappeared. Broad modillions of limestone support the ledge and slate roof. The rear wall, the ground floor of which has also been modified like, is made up of whitewashed timber facing with brick in-fills. It is adjoined by modern annexes.
Building listed on 26th November 1973
