Description

The forty hectare nature and recreation area ‘De Brielmeersen’ is located between the River Lys and the Schipdonk Canal in Deinze's city centre. It has a lot to offer: charming footpaths, decorative ponds, an animal park, a sunbathing area, a fit-o-meter, a school forest, a swamp biotope, a yacht basin and sports fields. Children can live it up in the playground while mom and dad can keep an eye on them from the outdoor terrace of the Laakmeershoeve cafeteria.
