Description

Built in the Late Gothic-Renaissance transitional style, the facade is decorated with statues representing the Counts of Flanders. Inside the City Hall, there are the splendid aldermen's room and the council room, each with a 16th century sculpted mantelpiece. It is also worthwhile to look at the building's stained-glass windows, the murals, and the remarkable topographical maps.
