Emblem is a part of the municipality of Ranst in the Belgian province of Antwerp. Emblem is located in the outskirts of Antwerp, southeast of the city. Emblem was an independent municipality until the municipal reorganization of 1977.Emblem, formerly spelled Emblem, was an independent municipality until the end of 1976. The town may be one of the origins of the nearby city of Lier.
