The Old Hermitage Castle is a castle in the Belgian borough of Gentbrugge on the Gentbruggekouter, originally a castle that was most likely built in the 12th century and possibly even earlier. In 1165 a castle chapel was erected on the domain. Some historians see this castle chapel as an explanation for the name given to this former municipality.
