According to the bible of all of us, the Encyclopedia Cotacol, the côte de la Baraque Michel-Nord, with its total score of no less than 336, should be a real calf biter. However, it is not the percentages that make this slope worthwhile. The percentages that matter are in the first 1000 meters of the climb, known locally as Côte de Hestreux.
Its beauty in natural beauty really gives you the feeling of being in the middle of a wildlife park. Far away from civilization, with its length of more than 13 kilometers, it gives you plenty of time for the necessary self-reflection. In particular, why you had to fight Mother Nature if necessary.
