The cemetery of Robermont is a cemetery in the Belgian city of Liège. The cemetery covers 44 hectares and is the most important cemetery in the city. It is located east of the city center, in the district of Bressoux.
Since the Middle Ages, the Abbey of Robermont was situated here. Under French rule, the church properties were abolished at the end of the 18th century, and in 1797 the abbey was sold. The gardens were not sold because the municipal government wanted to establish a cemetery here. In 1799, deceased soldiers from the hospices des Écoliers were already buried here. In 1805, the various small cemeteries in Liège were closed, and from then on only three cemeteries outside the city center were used, namely those of Hocheporte, the Bayards, and Robermont. The Bayards cemetery was already closed in 1816, and Hocheporte in 1821. In 1874, the city would get a second large cemetery with the Cimetière de Sainte-Walburge. The old section of the cemetery was protected as a site in 2002.
