Description

In 1965, the dam and power plant for the generation of renewable energy were put into operation. In this way, the water from the river Vierre is collected and directed to the hydroelectric power station on the Semois where the energy production takes place.
The lake has an area of 35 hectares and is up to 9m deep with a capacity of 1.5 million cubic meters of water.
