Parish church, until 1000 dependent on the abbey of Sint-Truiden, afterwards on the counts of Loon and the lords of Kolmont and Wezemaal. From the second half of the 12th century it belonged to the hamlet of Quamol, from 1281 it belonged to the other half of Oostham. Until 1823 right of operation and right of forgiveness . Three-aisled pseudo-basilica with square west tower and transept. Early Romanesque tower (10th - 11th century), which included a single-aisled hall church with rectangular choir (excavations in 1940). In the 14th century this church had become too small, it was rebuilt with the addition of a late Gothic choir and transept arms. In 1603 the aisles and the chapel of the Lords of Ham (now sacristy) were added. Repairs to tower (1749), nave (1757) and aisles (1758). In 1836-1839 the chapel facades were demolished, and the whole brought under one roof, a portal in the tower was installed and the chapel of the Lords of Ham was transformed into a sacristy. In 1934, a second nave with choir (neo-Gothic) was built across the church, so that the north aisle disappears and the axis of the church is shifted. The tower and church were destroyed in 1940 but rebuilt by architect N. Van Malleghem (1956-1958). The plan describes a square west tower, a three-aisled nave of three bays, a transept arm of one bay and a choir of a straight bay with three-sided closure, flanked on the south side by the chapel of the Lords of Ham.
