The Church of Our Lady Immaculately Conceived is the parish church of Hulst, a village east of Tessenderlo. The church is located on the Hulsterweg.
In 1908, a temporary church was built in Hulst, where the weekly mass was celebrated from Tessenderlo. In 1911, the chaplaincy of Hulst was elevated to a parish. The actual church was completed in 1928, but was only solemnly consecrated in 1938. The architect was Joseph Deré. It is a modern Gothic brick church. Initially, the church had a tower, but this was demolished in 1956, leaving only a small staircase turret next to the entrance.
