The Belgian military cemetery of Houtem is a military cemetery located on Wijngaardstraat in the Belgian village of Sint-Margriete-Houtem.
This cemetery covers an area of 22 ares and contains 173 Belgian graves from the First World War. Of the 173 fallen soldiers, 3 are unidentified. The soldiers resting here died on August 18, 1914, during the Battle of the Seven Hills. The large number of casualties that day resulted from a surprise attack on the 22nd Line Regiment. 140 other fallen soldiers from that day are buried in the nearby Grimde at the old church that was converted into a necropolis after the war. A number of soldiers who later died from their wounds were buried in the municipal cemetery of Tienen.
