The Grote Gete is a Belgian river that, after confluence with the Kleine Gete, forms the actual Gete. The Grote Gete has its source in the Walloon Brabant municipality of Perwijs near the Roman road. It passes the Abbey of La Ramée, crosses the Namur-Tienen road and flows through the villages: Geest-Gérompont, Mont-Saint-André, Bomal, Klein-Geten, Jodoigne, Sint-Jans-Geest, Hoegaarden, Tienen, Oplinter, Neerlinter, Drieslinter and Budingen, where it forms the border with Helen-Bos for a short distance.
