The Rotselaar Watermill or Van Doren Mill, listed in the heritage inventory as the Van Doren Mill, is a turbine-type watermill on the Dyle, used as a hydroelectric power station.
The mill is first mentioned in 1217 when it was included in the inheritance on the death of the lord of Rotselaar. Later it came into the possession of the Dukes of Aarschot, the De Croÿ family until 1612 and later of Arenberg. The latter had a miller's house, with a pear-shaped decoration, built in 1573, which we find on several buildings belonging to the Arenberg family.
