The Coupure is a Belgian navigable canal in Bruges that connects the Bruges-Ghent Canal via the Lange Rey Canal with the Bruges-Ostend Canal. Losing its function for the transport of goods in the mid-twentieth century, today it has been transformed into a marina. In 2002 a pedestrian drawbridge was opened at the canal exit, completing the circular path of Bruges' old moats.
