Aywiers Abbey is a former Cistercian women's abbey in Couture-Saint-Germain, a borough of Lasne.Originally, this abbey, the oldest in Brabant, was founded around 1195 in the vicinity of Hollogne-aux-Pierres in the Prince-Bishopric of Liège. A donation in 1215 from the Viscount of Brussels made the monks decide to move to Couture-Saint-Germain.
