The Castle of Argenteuil is a property located in Waterloo on which three castles have been built, of which two still exist. It is named by the founder Ferdinand Meeûs after the Silver Creek, in French the Argentine. The actual castle is occupied by the European School of Brussels-Argenteuil. The 20th-century Tuck castle was a royal domain, where the abdicated King Leopold III and Lilian Baels stayed from 1961 to 2002.
