The All Saints Chapel and St. Sulpitius Church from the All Saints Mountain.
Neoclassical pilgrimage chapel from 1854-60. The chapel is named after the hill on the southern bank of the Demer where it was originally built. When the citadel was constructed in 1845, the old chapel, which had been rebuilt several times at this location, had to be dismantled. It was erected closer to the town, just in front of the military building, in neoclassical style. On November 1, 1854, the first mass was celebrated in the new chapel, and since then, the pilgrimage of All Saints in Diest has become a tradition.
Meanwhile, there are more than 150 statues of saints in the chapel, which together tell the story of 700 years of devotion and folk faith.
