In this brown pub at Astene Sas, you can enjoy a tasty ship's snack. This historic building houses a nice collection of ship artifacts, maritime paintings, and authentic documents from the time of inland navigation on the Leie. The drawbridge over the sas, dating from after World War I, is still operated manually by the lock master, who is also the operator of the café. Be sure to try the house beer 'Schobiak'.
