The Notre-Dame cross is a stone Calvary dating from the seventeenth century. It is composed of a trapezoidal stone base and a Tuscan column with a capital surmounted by a cross. The complex has an approximate height of five metres. There is mention of a Calvary located on this site as early as the fifteenth century, this ancient cross was probably made of wood. The cross was used as a point of welcome between the representatives of Tournai and the bishop. In addition to this religious function, it marked the boundary of the city.
On one side of the plinth, there is a bas-relief depicting a cross and the date 1631.
