Built in 1729 under the abbey of Célestin De Jong, this wing of the former abbey complex aimed to halo the monastery with unparalleled prestige and to offer a lodging worthy of their rank to the distinguished guests of the abbots. The renovation of the Cour d'honneur undertaken for a good decade aims to restore the neighborhood to an appearance close to that of original. Currently it houses the State Archives Service and the Service for the Dissemination of Cultural Affairs of the Province.
