This photogenic pedestrian and cyclist bridge is a beautiful example of architecture. Pedestrians and cyclists can easily cross from Park Spoor Noord to the Eilandje and vice versa via the Park Bridge. The Park Bridge spans the Italiëlei at the level of Noorderplaats. On the Eilandje side, the bridge rests on the London Tower, while on the Park Spoor Noord side, it rests on the main building of the Artesis Plantijn University of Applied Sciences Antwerp. With its unusual shape, the bridge serves as a striking gateway to the northern part of the city. The Park Bridge was opened in July 2016. In early 2019, work began on the cycling ramp on the Eilandje side. Below is a link to an impressive video about the placement and transport of the bridge.
