The St. Vedastus Church is the main church of Menen. Commonly referred to as "the big church."
A plan by Sanderus from 1644 indicates that there was already a church at this location. However, the current building with its neoclassical and monumental entrance dates from the early 19th century. There are three naves and three choirs. They are dedicated to the Holy Virgin, St. Vedastus, and St. John the Baptist.
The church was inaugurated in 1821.
