The Kemmelberg, at 156 m, is the highest peak in Flanders and perhaps the most well-known 'mountain' in the Westhoek and West Flanders. The provincial domain covers 148 ha. The Kemmelberg hiking route, the West Flanders cycling route, and the Heuvelland walking network are ideal for exploring the wider surroundings of this nature reserve. Various hiking trails cross the entire domain and offer walkers stunning views over West and French Flanders. You can walk on unpaved paths, even passing by orchards and vineyards.
