The castle is located at Linkeroever 37 in Zulte and was built in 1748. Via the Limnanderdreef, the castle was connected to the center of Zulte. This pathway was interrupted in 1972 by the construction of the Leiekanaal. As a result, Kasteel Te Lake is now cut off from the village. The Neoclassical building stood empty for many years and was in a state of disrepair when it was restored in 1990.
