The Melkhuisje has been producing dairy products on their farm since 1993. Initially, this was only butter and buttermilk, but it quickly expanded to include low-fat yogurt (various flavors), chocolate mousse, rice dessert, and buttermilk drink. They also sell products from fellow farm producers from the Leie region, namely ice cream and various farm cheeses. In addition to the dairy products, they sell potatoes all year round. In May and June, it’s strawberry season and also some vegetables like cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots.
