The most important religious building of the municipality is the parish church Sankt Nikolaus in the center of the village. It was built on a small elevation according to the plans of the well-known architect L. Mefferdatis from Aachen. The Baroque building was erected between 1720 and 1723 by the inhabitants of the village. Today, the parish church of Raeren is still one of the most beautiful in the Eupener Land. In addition to a beautiful high altar and many carvings by Leonard Mennicken on the confessionals and benches, there is also a beautiful Stations of the Cross, which was painted in the 1970s by the well-known artist André Blank from Raeren.
The new Weimbs organ is also widely praised, on which internationally renowned organists come to play during the concerts that are regularly organized here.
