The Altan tannery in Zulte is the last working artisanal tannery in Flanders. Leather is still processed here every day. Some machines are over 150 years old. You can visit this unique company by appointment. Next to the company, there is a shop where you can buy leather goods, and on the premises, there is also a party hall 't Altanerietje that can be rented.
