According to ancient tradition, the original Ardennes ham was cured at Montenau's ham-curers, applying great expertise and craftsmanship, and smoked traditionally in beech wood and juniper berries.

On weekdays you can follow the entire production process through wide glass screens, and find out much of interest about ham and its history in a film. There is no charge for the tour.
