River Warche is a tributary of the Amel, within the catchment area of the Maas. Its water feeds the reservoirs of Bütgenbach und Robertville. It rises to the east of Hünningen and Honsfeld, close to the German border, 660 metres above sea level. Its headwaters include several rivers that join up and flow through the forest towards Büllingen, though with much meandering along the way.
