Description

The Waregem – Ingelmunster railway line, which fell into disuse in 1985, has evolved into a beautiful and valuable nature reserve on the border area with Zulte. This one and a half kilometer long bed is located in a former flood zone of the Gaverbeek. Meadow and hayland mainly determine the landscape here. Years of inventory ensured that the railway bed became an ecological gem with numerous animal and plant species.

From here you can also cycle south over the old railway bed to the border with Anzegem.
