Description

Parish established in 1926, initially with a temporary chapel. The laying of the foundation stone of the church took place on September 26, 1926, according to the design of Simon Van Craen. Consecration on July 17, 1927. Recognition of a subsidiary chapel in a shed of the Hof ter Beke (see number 904) on June 21, 1948. Consecration of the new church on June 14, 1969, according to the design of Walter Steenhoudt; the old church converted into a banquet hall.
