Former cotton spinning mill of the United Spinning and Weaving Companies Joint Stock Company, built in 1922 according to archival documents by architect F. Dierkens, currently a furniture warehouse. Underground brick building on an irregular rectangular floor plan, with two building floors under a flat roof. Facade with large rectangular (in the front facade of nine bays) and square (in the side facades) wall openings with mullion distribution, inscribed per bay in rectangular spare fields between wall buttresses. The latter rise above the eaves and, with their prismatic natural stone crown, form a strong rhythmic element. Heavy rectangular stair tower on the southeast corner with similarly marked upper corners. Interior space vaulted by narrow barrel vaults on transverse beams supported by four cast-iron columns each. City Archive Ghent, Building Applications Private Homes, G12, 1922/A/10.
