Stationsweg number 37. Historic farm "De Roskam" supposedly named after the nearby Roskambeek (cf. Lissewege). Originally owned by the abbey of Ter Doest. The farm is already mentioned in documents from 1576 as "the court and orchard." Located along the "grande allée d'arbres leading to the farm known as groot ter doest" according to a map from 1796-1797. Shown on the original cadastral plan as a farm consisting of three separate components namely a farmhouse, a barn, and a bakehouse. In 1871, a horse mill was built. In 1881, an enlarged farmhouse was put into use. In 1934, a subdivision into two properties occurs cf. number 35. Expansion of the farmhouse including a garage against the east gable in 1953. Extension in 1966 of the house to the west. Expansion of the house to the north and enlargement of the utility buildings in 1968. In 1970, 1973, and 1995, expansion with utility buildings. Farm consisting of separate components. Main building of the long-gabled type. Farmhouse with two bays + two living room bays under a continuous gable roof (Flemish tiles), featuring a climbing dormer. According to the year stone in the attic, the old core dates from "1513". Anchored white-painted brick construction above a plinth with a rough finish. Facades opened up with rectangular wall openings. Interior. Living room with preserved main and child beams. Wide fireplace provided with cheeks in sintered brick + profiled wooden mantel beam. Built-in pantry. Trapdoor to the attic. Cellar with barrel vault. Barn. Anchored brick construction, white-painted above a plinth with a rough finish. Tiled gable roof. A similar volume is roughly depicted on the primitive cadastral plan (circa 1835). Central carriage entrance. Integrated stable wing.
