Semi-closed farmhouse Hof te Hamme

Until the French Revolution, the "Hof te Hamme" was dependent on the abbey of Affligem; Nowadays a semi-enclosed farmhouse with paved courtyard, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. Single-storey farmhouse of seven bays with gable roof (tiles) from the end of the 18th - beginning of the 19th century. Brick construction with a cemented plinth and cornerstones of sandstone. Elevated ground floor with barred basement windows. Rectangular door with wooden sill, preceded by a few steps; shuttered and barred rectangular windows with bluestone sills. Stable wing with gable roof (tiled), skylights, a part overhanged on wooden cornice beams, and on the far left originally preserved modillons, partly dating from the 18th century but modified and enlarged. Some remaining doors with triangular monolith lintel and chamfered posts of bush-hammered bluestone, one with the date 1714(?) on the lintel. Left side gable with braiding, top and shoulder pieces on sandstone corbels and cornerstones of sandstone. Other buildings from the 19th century, including a spacious transverse barn under a gable roof (tiled) with two brick basket-arched gates per longitudinal side, dating from 1863.
