The Castle of Budingen is already mentioned in the 15th century. The current building is in a neoclassical style and dates from 1743. However, it was somewhat altered in a neoclassically toned style in 1896 (both years in the gable pediment), shortly after the Halle-Edingen road was laid out, causing the former connection avenue with the ancient Brabant road (Halle-Gaasbeek) to fall out of use. A few old beeches in the park and two gate pillars still mark the route. To the north, you will find the castle farm of the castle.
